Adult Medicine of Marietta had its origins in the local practice of Dr. Charles Wilhelm.
In 1986,
Dr. Allen Hoffman
took over the practice, and it has since grown
to
five physicians and
two nurse practitioners.
Currently located at 790 Church Street, Suite 250, both adolescent and adult patients are seen by appointment for preventive health visits, acute care, and management of chronic medical illnesses.
The providers of
Adult Medicine of Marietta believe that optimal health comes from a partnership with the patient, whereby both strive toward lifestyle modification and appropriate use of current medical therapy. By taking the time to listen to each other, we can reach a reasonable goal that helps you feel better. We take pride in the "old-fashioned" style of medicine that we practice, and our patients appreciate the extra care that they receive in our office.
As specialists in Internal Medicine, we have extra training in the diagnosis and treatment of non-surgical diseases. We can handle anything from a simple sinus infection to the management of a complicated pneumonia in the inpatient or outpatient setting. We also specialize in the management of patients with multiple medical problems and medications. All our physicians are Board Certified and have privileges at
WellStar Kennestone Hospital.
The staff at
Adult Medicine of Marietta is dedicated to high-quality patient care. Many of them have been with the practice for more than five years, with some having more than ten years of service to our patients. We think you will notice the difference when our receptionist calls you by name and our phone triage nurses treat you like a neighbor. We know we have the best patients in Marietta, and we try to treat them as such.
