Dr. Andrey Popykin is a native of Kazakstan, an independent country that used to be part of the Soviet Union. He attended college and studied medicine in Great Britain. After receiving his medical degree in Kazakstan, Dr Popykin completed Internal Medicine residency training at Emory University School of Medicine program in 2002. He is board certified in his specialty, is a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Physicians.

Dr. Popykin is fluent in English as well as Russian. His hobbies include travel and skiing. He lives in Fulton County.
