R. Scott Mills, M.D., completed his undergraduate degree at Vanderbilt University. He earned his medical degree from the Emory University School of Medicine, and then completed the residency program at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals.

Dr. Mills is a member of the Cobb County Medical Society, Cobb Landmarks & Historical Society, and St. James Episcopal Church. He is also a member of the Board of The Youth Museum, Board of Marietta Schools Foundation, and Board of The Pilgrimage at St. James.

Dr. Mills is married and has four children. His hobbies include gardening and working on his historic home.
