Our Services
A number of clinical services are available at our practice - vaccinations, EKG, spirometry, digital X ray. In addition, our building conveniently has both Quest and Labcorp laboratory sample collection sites. Various diagnostic tests may be performed during your office visit or scheduled as separate appointment.
We are proud to offer our patients a range of diagnostic procedures to help prevent, diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease - a leading cause of death in the United States. These tests are briefly decribed below. They typically require a separate appointment. Procedures are performed in our office by certified technicians using specialized equipment; data is interpreted by board certified specialists. If a test is ordered and performed, expect your doctor or a member or our clinical staff to discuss results with you, whether normal or not.
- Echocardiography - this test uses ultrasound to examine the heart wall, chambers, valves and inner lining.
- Carotid ultrasound is most frequently performed to detect narrowing, or stenosis, of the carotid artery, a condition that may result in stroke.
- Ankle Brachial Index (ABI)
- A.M.M. physician guided HCG Weight Loss Program. This 6-week program is based on fundamental and strict protocols necessary for successful weight loss.
- Take Shape for Life Weight Loss Program. This is a doctor-developed program for fast, safe, and sustained weight loss. T.S.F.L. uses Medifast meals which are low-glycemic, low-calorie foods scientifically formulated with the right balance of protein, carbohydates, fiber, vitamins, and minerals.
